Applications for the 2007-2008 Staff Assembly Career Enhancement Scholarship are no longer being accepted. Current applications are being reviewed and scholarship recipients will be named soon.

Scholarship Program Objective
To help career staff continue their education in associate, bachelor's or graduate programs at community colleges, state colleges or universities while employed at UCI.
Eligibility
Staff Assembly scholarships are offered to career staff employees, either full or part-time, who have completed their probationary period.
Guidelines
- Scholarship awards are based on available funding, the applicant's qualifications, and the order in which the application is received. Priority will be given to first time submittals.
- Awards are granted for $300, or less, per individual, per year, and will not exceed the cost of fees, books, or directly related expenses.
- Scholarships are awarded for continuing higher education in associate, bachelor's or graduate degree programs at any accredited college or university.
- Course work must occur within the 12-month academic year,
i.e., Fall through Summer for the applicant's specific institution.
- Scholarship funds are distributed after completion of the course(s).
- Within 90 days of course completion recipients must submit
the following to the Scholarship Committee Chair:
a. An official grade report for the funded course,
b. Receipts showing payment of tuition, registration fees, books,
parking, etc.
Reimbursements submitted after the 90-day deadline will be honored
at the discretion of the Staff Assembly Scholarship Chair.
